World Harvest Institute (WHI) is pleased to formally announce the introduction of a new academic program to be offered beginning Term 1, 2026. In response to the growing need for trained and ethically grounded counseling professionals, the Institute will offer both a Certificate in Counseling and a Diploma in Counseling.
This new programme has been designed to equip students with foundational knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to provide effective counseling support in a variety of personal, community, church, and organizational settings. The curriculum emphasizes personal development, communication skills, ethical practice, and culturally responsive approaches to counseling, ensuring graduates are prepared to serve with competence, compassion, and integrity.
The Certificate in Counseling provides an entry-level pathway for individuals seeking to gain essential counseling skills or to enhance their existing roles in ministry, education, health, or community service. The Diploma in Counseling builds on this foundation, offering more in-depth training for those who wish to pursue counseling as a professional vocation or advance their expertise in the field.
World Harvest Institute remains committed to academic excellence, Christian values, and the holistic development of students. The introduction of these programmes reflects WHI’s ongoing mission to respond to contemporary societal needs while preparing graduates to make a positive and meaningful impact in their communities.
Prospective students, partners, and stakeholders are encouraged to seek further information regarding programme structure, entry requirements, and enrollment procedures. For inquiries, please contact info@whi.ac.fj or visit the Harvest Institute website at www.whi.ac.fj.
World Harvest Institute looks forward to welcoming students into this new programme in Term 1, 2026, as together we invest in training and equipping the next generation of counseling practitioners.
