WE ARE ALL CALLED TO SERVE

“one of my greatest takeaways from WHI is understanding that we are all called to serve”

Aman Avishek Nand

Employed by Fiji police force based at police special response unit 8 miles makoi based under uniform branch and studied at World Harvest Institute from 2009 to 2011 in Raiyawa Nukutatava Labasa. I graduated with diploma in theological studies.

WHI instilled discipline in me through early morning prayers and daily programmed activities which has helped me to live a discipline life which has also set the platform to where I am today.

During my time with WHI, I was able learn how to read, write, and speak fluent i-Taukei language which has greatly assisted me in my policing career. One of my greatest takeaways from WHI is understanding that we are all called to serve.

WHI was a home for 3 years when I was away from my home it was my home when I was outcast by my family for accepting Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. when my family didn’t want me to stay with them anymore because I accepted Christ and they were strong Hindu believers. W.H.I was my shelter and place of refuge in those hard and trying times. The love and caring staff of WHI and the student body, never at any time let me feel that I was away from my home even to this day.  WHI is a home for me as I always refer back to staff for guidance and support when I’m faced with troubling times.
